So, I know it's been a very long time since I posted anything. Since I'm sure no one reads this anyway, I guess it really doesn't matter. My first post was a bit of therapy for me anyway.
Life is better these days, the divorce is almost final and Greg has started talking to me civilly again, apparently his attorney has lifted the ban on his communication with me. I recently started seeing someone too, which definitely makes me feel better about myself. He is a very nice guy, smart too, a nuclear physicist actually. He is not a gamer, has never been married, engaged or has any children. It's like being in high school again. He thinks I look like Elastigirl from the Incredibles and I think that's very cool. He looks nothing like Mr Incredible, by the way.
Today is my baby's third birthday, I cannot believe what has happened since that Groundhog's Day three years ago. Piper has grown into an amazing little person, I'm so proud of her. Despite the fact that she never goes to sleep, I still love her and only wish I could see her more.
I love Nursing school and will be done and trying not to kill people beginning in May. I have gained many new, supportive friends in the program. I can't believe people let me take care of them every day, don't they know they have the right to refuse treatment from a student? I don't think I've done any permanent damage to anyone quite yet.
